Graduate work in accounting is offered for those who wish more background for the positions described above and for those who wish to teach in colleges and universities.
Faculty and Research
Our research-active faculty provide research deemed worthy of publication in the top, extremely competitive journals in accounting. Recent work from the department’s faculty has appeared, or is forthcoming, in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, National Tax Journal, and Journal of the American Taxation Association.
Deparment of Accounting faculty have been invited to present their research at conferences and workshops at prestigious universities such as the University of Wisconsin, University of North Carolina, and Washington University, as well as to the American Accounting Association, the U.S. Treasury Office of Tax Analysis, and the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center.
