Applications for the Master of Accounting are accepted for both fall and spring admission.
Student Application Deadlines
- Fall Semester = March 1
- Spring Semester = October 1
International applicants should allow enough time for students to obtain their Visa and any other necessary documents. View information for international applicants.
Application Deadline Extensions
Exceptions to the deadlines may be granted on a case by case basis. Contact Carol Plagman at plagman@email.arizona.edu to request an application extension.

Applications and Supporting Materials
PLEASE NOTE: You must apply to BOTH the Department of Accounting AND the Graduate College as indicated below.
Applicants must submit the following materials to the Department of Accounting at the MAcc Program Coordinator address that follows:
- Online Departmental Application
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions. If you attended the University of Arizona, you are still required to send your UofA official transcripts. *
- Official GMAT scores (Institution Code 4229)
The GMAT is required for EVERYONE. You may not substitute a GRE or LSAT score. You also may not substitute work experience, credentials (CPA, etc) or any other consideration in lieu of the GMAT.
Note: there is no minimum score requirement for the GMAT. Please review the Class Profiles to see the range of scores accepted in prior semesters.
- Official TOEFL scores (international students only)
- Two Letters of Recommendation (these can either be submitted online through the Online Departmental Application, or mailed to the following address):
