ACFE Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Scholarship

Scholarship Awards in the amount of $1,000 each will be made to up to three exceptional students who best demonstrate integrity, a passion for fighting fraud and a commitment to the profession.
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student taking at least twelve semester hours or full-time equivalent each term, presently in attendance at any Accredited College or Arizona University. Applicants must also have a declared major in Accounting, Criminology, or Criminal Justice.

The scholarship awards will be made at the discretion of the AZ ACFE Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic achievement, as demonstrated by official transcripts, an application essay, three letters of recommendation, and a face-to-face interview with each Applicant.

AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship

The AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship program provides financial assistance to liberal arts and other non-business related
degree holders who are pursuing graduate studies in accounting and the CPA designation.

Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Have been accepted into or in the process of applying to an accredited graduate program.
  • Have not earned more than 12 credits in accounting or business during undergraduate program.
  • Be enrolled full-time as a graduate student for 2013-14.

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

The AICPA Minority Scholarship program is offered to students of ethnically diverse backgrounds who are considered underrepresented in the CPA profession.

Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall and cumulative)
